Douglas M. Marshall, III is Principal in the firm of Marshall Consulting Group, LLC (MCG), in the firm's Warrenton and Fredericksburg, Virginia offices. Doug's primary focus is in providing accounting, tax and business advisory services to his privately held clients. He has over 25 years of experience serving non-profit organizations, real estate and construction, the automotive and insurance industries.

Doug graduated from Averett College in 1985, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Doug is a certified Public Accountant in Virginia.

Professional memberships include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants (VSCPA). Doug was a past chair of the Virginia Society of CPA's and past President of the Battlefield Chapter of the VSCPA and the Fauquier County Chamber of Commerce.  In the past, Doug has been appointed to serve on the Fauquier County teacher compensation task force, and on the boards of People Helping People and the Partnership for Warrenton.
